Ignitio

Ignitio is an app for keeping your cars' history: what's been done to each one, what's due and its recalls. It costs €6 a month per owner, who can invite up to 5 people, with 15 days free.

What's been done to your car, what's due, and who to ask.

Your cars with their paperwork, every repair with its invoice, the maintenance plan and the recalls for your model. When something goes wrong, ask in your car's forums. And, when you sell, a report anyone can check.

€6 a month or €60 a year, VAT included · per owner, with up to 5 guests

15 days free, no card needed

Your account and checkout are in Spanish for now.

The problem

Your car's history is scattered: invoices in a drawer, the garage's stamp in the service book, emails and whatever you remember. When a service is due, a noise appears or you want to sell, there's no way to see it all together.

What about a folder with the invoices?

A folder doesn't remind you about the MOT or what's due, doesn't check your model's recalls and can't be shown to a buyer without handing it over. Ignitio does all that.

1 · Your garage

Your cars, with their details and paperwork.

Add each car with its VIN, a photo of the registration document or by hand. Note the MOT, insurance and road tax, and we'll remind you before they run out.

  • Up to 5 cars
  • With its provenance: when and from whom it was bought

Ignitio's logbook: servicing and a repair, with mileage, garage and cost

2 · Log it

Everything that's been done, in one place.

Faults, repairs, servicing and cosmetic work, with the date, mileage, garage, parts and cost. Snap the invoice: Ignitio suggests what was done and you confirm it.

  • A month later it asks whether the repair worked
  • Your garage can log its own work

3 · What's due

What's due, before it's overdue.

A maintenance plan by mileage and by time, whichever comes first, and the recalls for your model. Keep the manual and ask it whatever you need.

4 · Ask

Ask the people who know your car.

When something goes wrong, Ignitio suggests which car forums to ask in, and why, and drafts the post with the car's details: make, model, year, engine, mileage and any fault codes you've logged. You post it, and the replies come together in the app.

  • A fault in the logbook becomes a question in one tap
  • Once it's fixed, it offers to log the fix with a link to the thread

5 · Show it

A history anyone can check.

To sell it or show it: choose what goes in and what's hidden, and get a read-only link that expires. The report carries a fingerprint so anyone can check nobody has changed it.

Who it's for

  • You look after your car and want to know what's been done, when and what it cost.
  • Your car is older or special, and its history is worth money.
  • Two of you share the car, or your trusted garage logs its work.

Who it isn't for

  • You want to read fault codes by plugging a reader into the car: Ignitio doesn't connect to the car.
  • You run a company fleet: it's 5 cars at most.

What it's based on

Ignitio is based on what you and your garage log, with the invoices. Vehicle details from the VIN and recalls come from the US public databases (NHTSA), which know European cars less well: for Europe it gives you the links to check with your VIN. Whatever the AI suggests from a registration document or invoice, you confirm.

How we work

What it doesn't do

  • It doesn't connect to the car or read its fault codes.
  • It doesn't replace the manufacturer's service book: when in doubt, the book wins.
  • It doesn't book appointments or find you a garage.

Your data

It's stored on servers in the European Union. Only you and the people you invite can see it. We don't sell it or use it for advertising. You can download or delete it from your account.

Questions

Do my partner or my garage have to pay?

No. The owner of the cars pays and can invite up to 5 people in total, across all their cars. Your partner runs the car with you; the garage sees the history and adds its work, without changing anything else.

Does it post in the forums for me?

On most forums, no: you post. Ignitio drafts the text and opens the forum for you; once you paste the link to your thread, it reads the replies on its own. It only posts for you on forums built with Discourse, and only if you connect your account. The VIN never appears in full, and an invited garage sees the questions but doesn't post.

Does it work for European cars?

Yes. If the VIN database doesn't know yours, add it with a photo of the registration document or by hand. US recalls don't always apply in Europe: Ignitio gives you the links to check with your VIN on the manufacturer's site and on Safety Gate, and you note what they tell you.

Does it use AI?

Yes, to read the photo of the registration document and invoices, and to answer questions about a manual you've saved. It always suggests and you confirm; if it fails, you log it by hand.

What language is it in?

Spanish and English. Each person uses it in their own language, the report included.

How does the free trial work?

15 days without paying and without a card. If you don't add one at the end, the trial simply closes. Your data stays in your account: if you subscribe later, you pick up where you left off, and you can download or delete it whenever you like. One trial per person and app.

Can I pay yearly?

Yes: €60 a year in one payment, instead of €6 a month. You choose when you subscribe.

Can I cancel whenever I want?

Yes, from your account. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Your data stays in case you come back, and you can download or delete it.

Are there suites with several apps?

Yes: Augmenta One and Augmenta Casa. With the same free trial, and yearly billing too.

Do I need an account for each app?

No. Your Augmenta account gets you into every app you have, with the same email, or with Google or Microsoft.
